Dr. David Satnick

Dr. David Satnick has been performing cosmetic dentistry procedures for more than 20 years. After graduating with a B.S. in biology from the University of Southern California and a D.M.D. from Tufts University of Dental Medicine in Boston, Dr. Satnick traveled to Israel and volunteered to work at a dental clinic in a poor community of Jerusalem. His accreditations and memberships include:

Dr. Satnick was born in Los Angeles and raised in the San Fernando Valley. He has lived in Ventura for more than 20 years. Dr. Satnick enjoys meeting new people and helps patients relax by being compassionate, caring, and an attentive listener. He also enjoys educating his patients and involving them in diagnosis and treatment. Whether creating new smiles or just rejuvenating the old ones, Dr. Satnick appreciates the artistic side of dentistry: the combination of art and science to make someone feel and look better.

Dr. Satnick has been happily married for 18 years. He enjoys scuba diving, hiking, skiing, and most of all, being an involved dad with his three wonderful children.

Our Office

We know that many patients feel anxious or frightened at the prospect of dental work, so our office is designed to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Located on the 2nd floor of a building facing the beautiful foothills of Ventura, our practice’s reception area and examining rooms have large windows with gorgeous views. We provide a home-like atmosphere with a comfortable couch and custom chairs in the reception room and a soothing waterfall in the hallway. A variety of music plays throughout our office to help with relaxation, and we pride ourselves on our clean, modern facilities. Plus, we are diligent about keeping to our schedule and try our best to ensure that patients are seen within five minutes of their scheduled appointment time.

Patient Amenities

To further ensure that your visit is as comfortable as possible, we offer a headphone system that allows you to listen to music while we correct problems with your teeth. You can even take your mind off your treatment by watching DVD movies provided by our office. Every patient is given the VIP treatment, complete with blankets, water bottles, and other items that you may need to relax. With Dr. David Satnick and his experienced team of caregivers, your visit to the dentist doesn't have to be an unpleasant one.

Technology

Odyssey® Diode Laser

The Odyssey® Diode Laser allows Dr. Satnick to perform soft-tissue procedures quickly and with remarkable precision. Laser dentistry treatments are virtually painless and, because they are less invasive than traditional periodontal treatments, require significantly less recovery time. Preventive care through laser technology is the wave of the future, and Dr. Satnick continues to adapt his methods to provide the latest and best in oral treatment.

DEXIS® Digital Radiograph

Digital radiography is state-of-the-art technology that drastically reduces radiation exposure compared with conventional x-rays. Small sensors will be used to take images of your teeth. Those images will appear on a computer screen, allowing dental issues to be identified immediately. The best part is, the digital radiography exposes the patient to 90 percent less radiation than traditional dental x-rays.

Intraoral Camera

With an intraoral camera, you can view an enlarged image of the teeth and interior of the mouth on a computer screen. Dr. Satnick will insert this small camera into your mouth where it will take photographs and relay them to a computer screen. The technology allows you to see exactly what Dr. Satnick sees, so you can review the images together and decide on the best treatment for your specific dental needs.
